Do you know stroke? Most of people familiar with this deadly disease which induced by blood line supply to the brain consequent in broken stroke onset. In reality, if the provide of blood line to the brain is abruptly broke up or embarrassed it will drive many responses that take place in the brain. Prior to we talk about anything about stroke we had better know what is it and what causes it.
What Is Stroke
Stroke is a vascular disease of the brain in which WHO defines that stroke itself is a symptom of lack of nervous system function caused by cerebrovascular disease. The brain blood vessels of brain tissue necrosis caused by lack of blood supply to the brain or due to lack of oxygen to the brain. The cause itself could be because of the blockage, narrowing, or rupture of blood vessels.
People with chronic illnesses usually result in death but if the patient survive, there will be some risks such as paralysis, loss of some memories and ability to speech. This deadly disease is still divided into two types of ischemic stroke (blockage of blood vessels) and hemorrhagic stroke (rupture of blood vessels of the brain).
For ischemic subdivided into 3 types namely thrombotic stroke (thrombus formation process that makes clotting), embolic stroke (closing of the arteries by blood clot) and Hipoperfusion Systemic (Decreased blood flow to all parts of the body due to an interruption of heart rate), however, some of about 80% of ischemic stroke patients classified as type one.
As for the type of hemorrhagic stroke is divided into 2 of intracerebral Haemorrhagic (bleeding that occurs within the tissues of the brain) and subarachnoid Haemorrhagic (bleeding that occurs in the subarachnoid space). For patients with hemorrhagic type of stroke is nearly about 70% due to hypertensive disease in which patients with high blood pressure causes rupture of blood vessels of the brain.
For people with stroke illness usually will occur or stroke symptoms like complications that will arise. But the best for stroke patients to be more careful because even though the disease was cured, it will leave scars or post-stroke pain exactly. But you need not worry because the nearly 1 / 3% of patients can recover fully dependent on their respective businesses.
Early Stroke Symptoms
Stroke symptoms are difficult to detect than physical, but the signs can be seen from the behavior of the patient or the sufferer himself. For the initial stroke symptoms based on the location it will be as follows :
The brain stem : impaired breathing and heart rate, facial expressions impaired, tongue weakness, decreased ability to hear, taste, smell, decreased reflexes and see a partial or whole
Central nervous system : decreased sensory function, stiffness, muscle weakness (hemiplegia)
Cerebral cortex: confusion, hemineglect, memory decline, apraxia, aphasia
If you experience the stroke symptoms above, you should immediately consult to your doctor so that early prevention will be able to be overcome than to cure. In addition if the stroke symptoms above disappear within 24 hours then declared transient ischemic attack (TIA) which is the initial attack or minor stroke attack.
